"An der Hochschule Lausitz und in Senftenberg fühle ich mich sehr wohl. Es ist eine moderne Campushochschule mit kurzen Wegen. Die Dozenten haben immer ein offenes Ohr für die Fragen der Studierenden und helfen bei Problemen. Man kann sie auch per E-Mail kontaktieren. Besonders gut finde ich, dass neben der Lehre für ein breites kulturelles und sportliches Angebot gesorgt wird. Das GlückAufFest im Theater Neue Bühne war hier ein schöner Auftakt."

Die Stadt ist schön und ruhig, die Hochschule hat ganz nette Mitarbeiter/in sie helfen uns, wenn wir Hilfe brauchen, das Studium ist sehr gut. Die Leute hier sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. إن الأجواء المحيطة بي تساعدني على تحصيل دراسي جيد, فالمدينة هادئة وجميلة والجامعة تملك كادر تعليمي ممتاز, الأشخاص هنا لطيفون ومتعاونون, إضافة إلى السكن الجامعي فهو بالقرب من الجامعة هادئ وكل شئ فيه نظيف ومرتب أنا سعيدة كوني طالبة في هذه الجامعة الرائعة.

I’m studying at University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria since 2000 and now I’m staying here to study one year with Erasmus program. This opportunity is very important for me, because so I can meet new people, new cultures and new ways to construct different from Spain and discover a lot of different things. I like the live here so much and also to feel the cold, the trees, peace and the calmness. I like study in these university because I can find here small, quiet and not overcrowded classrooms. In Spain the most of the classrooms have a lot of student and these I don’t like so much.
One thing that I miss in this university is one place, where I can print my planes at the campus. It is difficult for me to find one place in a town! But I think it´s difficult but no it´s imposible. jeje At the end I would like to say that I feel very well here And I hope to learn German and your culture."
"When we first came here we realized this was going to be a totally different year for us. The Hochschule Lausitz represents a new way of understanding architecture. Maybe because of the size of the school (much smaller than the one at home) or maybe because of the cultural differences between our countries, we find there are new teaching methods as well as a change in the relationship between teachers and students.
On one hand, in the Hochschule Lausitz there is a more personal treatment with the students than in our University, it's easier to relate to the teachers here, wich allows an enriching exchange of ideas between us both.
On the other hand the development of the studies is more practical; workshops and handcrafts combine themselves with technical courses and riskier proposals on architectural interventions in a way we have never seen in Spain.
To sum up, we see this as a new path in our way to become proffesional architects and we hope we can provide the same to this School."
