Lausitz University of Applied Sciences

Lausitz University of Applied Sciences is located in the Federal State of Brandenburg and was founded in 1991. It has a campus in Senftenberg and a campus in Cottbus. From its two campuses, there is excellent traffic access to the cities of Berlin and Dresden as well as to the nearby neighbouring countries Poland and Czechia, but also to the world-famous Spreewald, a protected woodland and inland delta landscape with its traditional-style timber houses and domestic farming, and the growing Lusatian Lake District which is said to be the largest artificial landscape of its kind in Europe and still under construction.

The courses of study on offer range form a variety of engineering and scientific disciplines – with a tradition reaching back to the year of 1947 – to Social Work and Business Administration, and even Music Education.
