For acquiring the Bachelor of Engineering the following knowledge has to be proven during six semesters of studies:
1. Engineering fundamentals
mathematics, technical mechanics, material sciences, CAD and computer technology
general knowledge
Introduction to business & economics and one foreign languages
2. Advanced studies
technical thermodynamics, basic fluid mechanics, heating technology, sanitary technology, ventilation and air conditioning, water management, combustion technology, building automation and control system, gas supply and transport technology, cooling technology
3. Advanced management
project management and building relevant legislative regulations
4. From a catalog of subjects courses have to be chose
management and economics of energy
waste management
renewable energy
combined heat and power
district and local heating
fire protection in building techniques
hygiene in buildings with special focus on air conditioning
automation for air conditioning
operational safety
basic chemical analytic techniques
oil transport and supply
simulation of complex systems
environmental protection and energy supply
Throughout the program several projects have to be worked on. One project lasts one semester conducted with partners from industry. All projects lead to praxis relevant knowledge and skills.
The Bachelor thesis completes the studies. It can be carried out in industry or at university.
